OPEN HEART is built around a window into the movement. The aperture in the dial shows the balance wheel, the part that divides time into equal beats. It swings back and forth 21,600 times an hour, and every tick of the seconds hand comes from it.

Inside is a Japanese automatic movement. A weighted rotor winds the mainspring as your wrist moves, so the watch runs as long as you wear it and keeps going for about 41 hours off the wrist. Pull the crown and the seconds hand stops, so you can set the time to the exact second.

The case, bracelet and butterfly clasp are solid 316L stainless steel, a low-carbon, corrosion-resistant grade. The rose gold version adds a PVD coating, a hard layer bonded to the steel in a vacuum, which holds its colour far longer than traditional plating. A sapphire crystal protects the dial.

Rated to 3ATM, OPEN HEART handles rain and splashes. It isn't made for swimming, showers or saunas.

Always ensure the crown is fully inserted and securely closed. Avoid water exposure and extreme heat, as temperature changes and moisture can cause internal condensation and affect the movement. Make sure the crown is tightly closed and avoid hot water.
 

Keep the watch away from corrosive liquids and clean it with a soft, dry cloth if contact occurs. Handle with care to avoid impacts, and store it in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Regular servicing by a trusted watchmaker is recommended.
