Details

ARMADA is built around the chronograph, a stopwatch on your wrist. Press the top pusher to start timing and press it again to stop. The bottom pusher snaps the hands back to zero. While the chronograph runs, the central hand counts in 1/5-second steps and the subdial tracks elapsed minutes up to an hour.

The case is forged carbon. Carbon fibre is pressed under heat into a solid form that's lighter than steel and highly resistant to knocks. The pressing leaves a marbled pattern, so no two cases are alike.

The tachymeter bezel turns the chronograph into a speed gauge. Start timing at one marker and stop after a kilometre or mile, and the bezel reading under the seconds hand gives your speed per hour.

Inside is a meca-quartz movement. Quartz keeps the time accurate, while a mechanical chronograph module gives the pushers their crisp feel and instant reset.

Rated to 3ATM, ARMADA handles rain and splashes. It isn't made for swimming, showers or saunas.

Every ARMADA is assembled by hand and pressure-tested before it ships, with a 2-year warranty and in-house service.

At Julian Valis, our watches are handcrafted and built to last. To ensure proper performance and longevity, please follow these guidelines.

Always ensure the crown is fully inserted and securely closed. Avoid water exposure and extreme heat, as temperature changes and moisture can cause internal condensation and affect the movement. Make sure the crown is tightly closed and avoid hot water.

Keep the watch away from corrosive liquids and clean it with a soft, dry cloth if contact occurs. Handle with care to avoid impacts, and store it in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Regular servicing by a trusted watchmaker is recommended.

Forged Carbon

Our ARMADA cases are pressed from forged carbon. Short strands of carbon fibre bound in resin and compressed under intense heat and pressure. The result is about a fifth of the weight of steel and highly resistant to knocks, and it never corrodes or tarnishes. The strands settle differently in every mould, so each case carries its own marbled pattern, and no two are alike. It's the material a watch should be made of when it's meant to be felt, not noticed.
